“Knowledge is of no value unless you put it into practice.”
After putting in all possible efforts to overcome the challenges posed by the pandemic & the shift of classroom education to the virtual world; the year gone by came up with its own set of challenges.
Heading back to the discipline of the school & the classroom environment, was actually a hard nut to crack especially for the students. But it could be made possible with the combined efforts of each & every member of the Millennium community—namely parents, students, administration, teaching & non-teaching staff members.
In an ever evolving world, the purpose of education still stands at the fulcrum of a child’s holistic development. An attitude of inquiry, research, and critical thinking are essential to a student’s engagement with education, and I am proud of all of us for overcoming and embracing the special provocations of the new normal, and stepping out of the year determined and firm as ever. I am especially thankful to our teaching staff for constantly up skilling themselves amongst the dynamic demands of the evolving pedagogy and exploring multiple pathways for imparting quality education to the students.
Last year, we also added another feather in our Millennium cap - The Senior Secondary level (+2) affiliation from CBSE, New Delhi that further bolsters our endeavor to provide the best to our students. This, of course, is a great achievement given that we were working towards this in particularly difficult times.
The Millennium Learning System is one-of-a-kind and unique. Our curriculum and practices are consistently reviewed to ensure that we are following the most updated best practices, meeting all regulations, and addressing the future needs of our students. In addition to this, our staff consistently follows current trends and after brainstorming over the best plan of action to incorporate those trends, we zero in on the ones that are most appropriate to our classrooms. The system of education has become so dynamic that it is no longer enough to connect the dots, we need to think out of the box and think beyond a pattern!
To materialize our vision, we believe in considering each child unique, possessing individual talent and aptitude. Education is the premise zone & encouraged to think critically and creatively. This is aptly manifested in all the events that take place in our school. Let us keep alive the child’s inborn sense of wonder, let us arouse their curiosity to discover the mystery of the world we live in—especially, to work towards the Sustainable Development Goals highlighted by the United Nations, which promise us a more sustainable, greener, and more equitable society by 2030 and beyond. I am excited to see the new league of Millenniumites change the world through their empathy, encounter the diverse set of problems and their skill to take challenges of the new world! As they do, the experiences simultaneously fuel emotional, social, intellectual, physical, and ethical development! Here we enjoy this journey with our children, reliving and rediscovering the magic of learning! PrincipalMillennium World School, Patna
